Props on the Daniel Tosh reference, btw.

I think at this point he's out of ideas. Really. I'm actually writing a thing for my LJ now about our business and why we support Obama as a small business.

Have you seen Obama's tax plan? It would be awesome. If we hired ten people we would get a $30,000 tax credit. I forget what the numbers are for one employee, but it's still significant.

That kind of thing gives small companies like ours a lot more freedom to hire the help we desperately need.

The only real idea I hear from McCain is lowering the capital gains tax. Which is only on selling things over $5,000. While that would be nice if I had to sell my car most people I know who are struggling don't have a ton of >$5,000 assets lying around waiting to be pawned if they're in trouble.

I think it's funny they're trying so hard with the smear tactics. It's turning a lot of people off and most people are freaked out enough about the economy that they don't have patience for irrelevant personal attacks. I think Obama did a great job last night of saying that it's not about who hurts whose feelings, it's about who has the right ideas to move the country in the proper direction for the future.

If McCain did that I still wouldn't vote for him, but I would certainly have to give him some mad props.

Started with props and ended with props. This comment came full circle.
