Mostly close-ups and weird angles.

Here are some other random photos I've taken lately:

Cool! So, the projects are getting you using your camera more.
It's all falling into place....

Come on, where's your evil, bellowing, cackle?

That works. It is so unfortunate she has that laugh.

Interesting stuff. I like the elevator ones and all the little figures.

Thanks. The figures are on my desk and was a sort of goof-off photo :)

The Science Hall pic is sweet. It's bold and drab at the same time. And there's so much detail to the brick when you look closely. I like the second one too, it has so many different "vectors".

That's what I love about that one, all the brick detail. That's Jacquelyn's building. Her office is the middle window. Her lab is two floors down on the other side of the building.

I fill a layer with this pattern Image and usually I use the Soft Light setting, but sometimes others :) Enjoy the scratchitude!

I'm retarded when it comes to layering
help?!

[identity profile] jackshoegazer.livejournal.com 2008-04-19 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
I'll see if I can explain it. I'm using Photoshop7 so the things might be a little different depending on what you're using.

First you have to make that scratch file a pattern. Open the scratch picture. Under Edit go to Define Pattern. Then go to whatever picture you want to edit it on and make a New Layer (Shit+Control+N) and then go to Fill and change the fill to Pattern and select the scratch one. Then on your layer box change the place where it says Normal to Soft Light or just play with the various options till you find one you like.

I hope that's what you were asking for else I'm an idiot :)
