My main beef is that Satanists never existed, historically. They were basically created by the Catholic Church. During the Inquisition, the people they tortured admitted to anything, specifically, the Church's greatest fears, people worshiping Satan. No one ever actually worshiped Satan. Anyone who is a Satanist now, is a fool, grasping on to a modern phenomenon, a bunch of morons following an ugly theatrical blend of crap stolen from horror movies with snippets of Egypt and Crowley and Christianity.
