Oh, how I have missed analog film!

Another roll of lomography photos have been developed. Walk with me as we journey through crowds and buses, along highways & byways, and Buddhas on my bicycle!

Twelve photos of quarter-frame beauty and oddity. )

(Guess which one Jacquelyn calls my "pouty, gay-model look.")

Lomography is a fun hobby, seriously dude.

Here are six more photos from my lomo, taken mostly while riding my bicycle sometime last month.

Does anyone even use dial-up anymore? )

A pictoral quartet, if you will.

For my birthday, one of the gifts I received from Jacquelyn was this lomography camera.  Lomography cameras are analog and designed for a particular photographic effect, like fisheye.  This one takes four stop-motion style pictures on each frame of film.  I just got the film developed this morning and if you're interested, here are the results.

The lomography motto of 'don't think, just shoot' presumes spontaneity, close-ups, and ubiquity, while deemphasizing formal technique. Typical lomography cameras are deliberately low-fidelity and inexpensively constructed. Some cameras make use of multiple lenses and rainbow-colored flashes, or exhibit extreme optical distortions and even light leaks. )
