So, Blackwater is getting the fucking boot from Iraq.  They have seven days to gtfo.  Finally.  This is a great day.  The problem is that their functions will just be replaced by some other private security force.  If we're going to have this giant military presence, we should at least be hiring and training our own troops.  The idea of private armies is so abhorrent  I can hardly think about it and the inherent repercussions.

My girlfriend's roommate was offered a disgusting amount of money to work for blackwater for 6 months. She turned it down though and is now going to college w/ the GI bill paying her 2 grand a month (which is still nice, but like 1% of what she would have been getting paid). Anyway. Morality reigns.
