I suppose it's a wagon, but oddly I never thought of it as one, since it's so short (the Forester is built on an Impreza frame) :P We plan to do a lot of camping and roadtripping so the room was a definite must.
The numbers say 26ish, but we're going to do our own measurements and see what it gets. We drove about 150 miles today on 3/8ths of a tank, which is pretty good, I'm guessing.
My dad used to tell me that the world was black and white when he was a kid and that's why all the pictures were black and white. I always get a feeling looking at your pictures that you're living in a time where they haven't perfected color pictures, or like these are pictures from the 60's that were left in a drawer or photo album forever and they've warped slightly.
The new car is seriously the shit, rides like a dream. I'm so happy for you guys! Not only do you have a car again, but it's a really awesome car and exactly the one you wanted!
