I also tend to interpret sexual elements in terms of creative potential, so the libido/penis aspect of the 'creation' of enlightenment makes sense, especially from a tantric point of view (also with origins in the Far East.)
I didn't know DB was a writer, however good he is. I also, quite often, refer to myself as a Jack-of-all-Trades. And like DB, I was often criticized for my constanly changing hari styles :P
This however, makes me wonder why my co-author and I were hiding out during the main event, the robbery which brought the attention. Perhaps an analogy to our hermit-dom during the writing of the book. We'll be there for the aftermath, (when the cows come home) yet we were basically sequestered in the backroom of our minds when writing the book (which is VERY Anima oriented.)
I should definitely look more into Thailand, especially, as I'm unfamiliar with cow-worship in specifics (except where my reading of Terrence McKenna has filled me in on their role in psilocybin rituals.)
